I had the distinct pleasure of promoting a concert for Rebecca St. James in 1998 in Cape Giradreau, MO. Everything that David said here is absolutely true. It was a sell out in our 1800 seat venue. After the concert when I was paying David he cautioned me to be sure that I had all of my expenses covered before paying him. I assured him my expenses were covered. What a wonderful experience. I promoted the concert as a mom who wanted to bring quality Christian music concerts to our town. I thought it was very special then and now seeing their life played out on the screen is so affirming that I was on the right track.

I just discovered Theocracy and I've shared links to friends and family. It's so great to hear Christians playing at this level. Seventh Avenue was another great band also. Unfortunately disbanded, I hope Theocracy keeps plugging away.

I will be honest, I have identified as Atheist for 20 years. But lately, I have been getting into Stryper more. Had no idea this wasn't an actual song. Was hoping to actually listen to it. I have enjoyed Petra, and of course, John Schlitt, for many many years, maybe the full 50! Thanks to Petra's music, my oldest son became a Christian. I've seen Petra as many times as I've been able to do so. First one was many years ago in Alberta at what was then known as Prairie Bible Institute. 25 years ago, we saw Petra at the Jubilee Auditorium in Edmonton, Alberta; I believe they were opening for Newsboys' "Steppin' up to the Microphone tour.... That evening, I had the pleasure of meeting John in person and had a short chat...that was my 40th birthday celebration. Also, with friends, traveled to Calgary for the then farewell tour. Petra has outlived many many groups, in multiple genres. John Schlitt, you are an amazing man and have quite the testimony. Glad to know Petra continues. Would love to see you again but I don't think it's possible. Continued success and blessings! Petra shall continue through their albums, cd's, etc., for many years to come---if time continues! Thank you, PETRA !!!

Wow, i never knew Neal was a Christian. He has been in a whole lot of big Hollywood productions. He is not in the closet about it either. I wonder if he faces discrimination from people in that town. Although, it seems like there's alot of celebs migrating towards Christianity these days. Good for him, i hope he continues to flourish.

Michael says there may be a part two to "The Redeemers." YES!!! I'd volunteer to be an extra in a heartbeat. It's funny how I got into Red. We showed up late at a concert where they were opening and we caught the tail end of their last song. But Michael sang with Third Day on the song, "Slow Down (if my memory serves me correctly)." My wife isn't much of a heavy rocker, but she looked the band up on RUclips. Next thing I know, she told me she wanted to buy one of their albums. We bought Until We Have Faces and have been following them since. But I have never seen them in concert, sadly.

The 20 minute songs by Theocracy are awesome (along with all the other songs)!

I just heard about christian metal a few months ago. Was a metal fan in the eighties. Grew out of it. Stumbled on the christian metal scene and got wild enthousiastic about it. Theocracy is one of my favoutites. Now i have to catch up with all the works of these bands. Spotify is a good source for this. God bless.
